Trail Song Verse 23: Starburp

The first time I met Starburp, she was flipping pancakes by the side of the road in Georgia. She had already hiked the first few tens of miles and was trail magicking for her friends who she would later hike with to Damascus. Then she traveled with Savor from Virginia to Vermont. Later she joined our party as we approached the border of Maine.

Starburp is vegetarian, an interesting nutritional challenge for thru hiking.

wandered down that holler and what did she see?
just a garden full of greenies by the salad blazing tree

if i should not make it to the summit up in Maine
